Just before Christmas we photographed the wedding of James Attenborough and Kimberley Strahan at Patonga, a small fishing village on the NSW Central Coast.
We were very excited to have the chance to travel to this beautiful untouched part of the Central Coast and we made a holiday out of it.
We were not the only ones to do so with people coming from all over the world to help celebrate James and Kim’s special day and staying a few extra days to relax in this picturesque coastal paradise.
The groom was unable to resist a spot of fishing in the Hawkesbury River not long before the ceremony and the bride took everything in her calm, unruffled stride – quite used to her husband-to-be’s nature.
Despite threats of rain leading up to the ceremony the weather really did turn it on with the sky opening out to reveal a fantastic blue, sunny sky as the bride and groom exchanged their vows at the base of a beautifully rustic jetty reaching out into a magical creek.
The photoshoot and reception following was a really fun and casual event. We had an absolutely amazing day. The bride looked breathtaking, the groom dashing… an incredible couple. Thanks for sharing it with us James and Kim.
