I LOVE a good love story, and this gorgeous couple have a great one.
Larissa (who is a Straddie local) had done what all girls with a sense of adventure do. Gone over seas to live for a while.
She had moved to the UK and in with Ed, Ed was Henry’s brother.
Ed noticed Henry (aka the Hunk from Haslemere) visiting more and more and then after not much time at all… they were together.
After less a year Larissa moved back to Australia and Henry made the decision to pack up his life and follow her to the other side of the world.
And now they are married.
Well worth the trip I would think, Larissa absolutely glowed while getting married to Henry.
And the decorations… did someone say Detail.
You could have knocked me over with a feather when I first walked into the Point Lookout Community Hall to photograph the reception at Larissa and Henry’s wedding, the place looked incredible. The decorations… Whoah. Amazing. I didn’t really know where to start.
Noreen (Larissas mother) says that it takes a village to raise a child and it seemed as though half of the Point was there lending a hand to get everything ready for the big day.
The place just looked beautiful and Larissa, along with her mother, Larissa’s ‘Aunties’ and of course the ever incredible Donna from Stradbroke Island Events managed to see their vision come to life.
Gordon from Straddie Catering had an amazing spread of food
Larissa’s bridesmaid Kirsten made the cake
Larissas aunty Mary the Celebrant

It was a hot and humid day and I have no idea just how Henry and his family (who were over from England and South Africa) managed to get through the day let alone all look fantastic while doing it.
An amazing wedding, we loved it.
Thanks for inviting us.
We also put together a little stop motion video of the day.
